Bio for Imtiaz

I was born in Tanzania with Indian heritage and have lived experience as a gay and gender diverse person living in Vancouver British Columbia.

Mindful Integration facilitation is a powerful, holistic approach that combines mindfulness Integration to help you break free from limiting beliefs and patterns. It involves uncovering and exploring unconscious beliefs formed in the past—often in childhood or through significant life events—that can hold you back from fully living in the present. These beliefs subtly shape how we perceive ourselves and the world, limiting our experience and potential. By bringing awareness to these hidden influences through working with current triggers, we can gently transform them, creating space for more freedom, authenticity, and clarity in every area of your life.

I offer unconditional acceptance and a person-centred approach where I focus on the person and not the problem.

I can help you better understand the challenges you are facing and together we can work to resolve some of those challenges.

I can help you understand your anxiety, conquer your anger and deal with your depression.

I am a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Practitioner from the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology and a graduate of the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training.
